France is a magnificent country in Western Europe and it is also known
as “The Hexagon” because of the country’s shape that really looks like
a hexagon. France comes from the Latin word “Francia” which means the
“country for the Franks”. However, this is not the only theory on how
the name “France” was founded. Another interesting theory about the
formation of the name France is that the name is taken from the name
of the weapon used by the settlers here during the past which is known
as “francisca”. “Francisca” is a lance-like weapon that was used by
the people here as a throwing weapon.
There are a lot of beautiful and interesting places in France, and to
visit all of them in a week or two is just plain impossible. Even a
full month in this place will not guarantee that you can go to all of
the tourist attractions here. Therefore, we would like to recommend
for you to plan your holiday really well and prioritize on the

If you think that all France has is man-made structures and buildings,
you are dead wrong. France is also known for its beautiful beaches and
they can be easily reached at Aquitaine. Aquitaine is one of the

Arcachon that is famous for its Dune of Pyla. It is the tallest sand
dune in the whole European region and if you are able to see it from
above, you will be dumbfounded with this nature’s work.
The access to this dune is not restricted so you can climb them

get because the views of the sea from a high place are just great. The
highest place you can be will be over a hundred metre above the sea
level and it would take a great will and stamina to reach that height.
However, there are also stairs being built during the holiday season
so that it is easier for small kids to climb the dune. Arcachon is the
only place in the world that has this attraction so make sure that you
visit it when you come to France!
Trekking to Everest Base Camp, Nepal travel
The Everest Base Camp is actually two base camp on Mount Everest. These camps are on opposite sides of Mount Everest. South Base Camp at an altitude of 5364 meters located in Nepal and the North Base Camp with an altitude of 5545 meters located in Tibet. South Base Camp can be accessed only by trekking and supplies are usually transported Alyuda sherpas with yaks. The North Base Camp has vehicle access, at least in the summer months. This trip to Nepal and in particular Everst Base Camp has been one of my best experiences with a backpack. And not just because the place is reached, which both had read and had caused much intrigue me, but how to get there.
The most common form of this trip is to fly by plane from Kathmandu to Lukla at 2860m. Once we landed there, the asphalt of the runway will be the last we see in several days: no more roads and tracks. The only thing ahead is a path of stones. Broken ground so that not even a mountain bike can break through.
From Lukla takes about a week to reach the base camp of Everest. The trek is not too hard in terms of miles of the stages, but it is true that there are ledges demanding and we have to be careful with altitude. It is very important to go slowly and stop two nights 3500m and 4200m just about to acclimatize well. Acclimatization is the process by which our body produces extra red blood cells to adapt to the reduced availability of oxygen is at higher altitudes.
